About Us

The ssdi-help.com website, established in 2006, is designed to help people win the first time they file for Social Security Benefits or to file a second concurrent application while their application waits in the appeals cycle.

Who’s Who

I’m Trudi Aviles, owner of the website and author of Win Your Disability Benefits Now, A step-by-step guide for writing winning answers for each question on the SSDI application (Social Security Disability Insurance). I filed for disability benefits in 2001 and won my case in three months. I was astonished at the number of deserving adults who were denied, over 64%. I knew I had to do something to reverse the culture of denial that exists in the Social Security Administration. I decided to start a website and write a book. Trained in research and analysis of technical topics, I discovered the formula, the techniques, to writing a winning application. Then I verified this formula with others who’d won the first time. It’s taken me four years to bring the book to the public. I’m pleased that the book is making such a difference in so many lives with so many approved applications; it was worth every ounce of effort.

SSDI-Services

ssdi-help.com also helps people on a one-to-one basis file their application through SSDI-Services, an organization that completes the application for others including collecting medical evidence and writing letters for their doctor’s to sign in support of the applicant’s claim.
